Daniel J. Bray, age 42 of Ogdensburg and formerly of Potsdam, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday (March 25, 2015) at his home. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Hale Cemetery in Norfolk.

His father David Bray predeceased him.

Daniel was born on July 31, 1972 in Potsdam NY the eldest son of David & Mary (Crump) Bray. He received his education from Potsdam Central School and continued his studies at SUNY Potsdam. He later married Necia L. Manslank on March 6, 1992. The couple later separated but remained friends.

As a jack of all trades, Daniel worked as a chef, graphic designer, industrial manufacturer and a manager for several businesses. He owned and operated Integral Property Services, a property management business in Madison, WI for several years before returning to New York.

He loved to cook and have BBQ's while spending time with his family and friends. Daniel enjoyed reading, writing, watching movies, creating visual artwork, gardening, and philosophical debates. He had a truly gifted and beautiful mind and worked hard to understand the human element by reaching out to others in need. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
